Candidates Forums Tentative Dates Announced
LWV Denton announces tentative dates to hold Denton City Council and Denton School Board candidates forums.
The number of debates may be determined by the number of candidates who file for office.
Filing ends February 13, 2026.
The League is considering forums of City combined, or City at-large and separate City single member districts, and separately School Board. Details to follow. Members will receive further information in a scheduled email closer to the dates determined.
Locations the League is considering are City Council Chambers and School Board Meeting Room respectively.
