Candidates Forums for May 2, 2026 Local Elections
LWV Denton announces a Denton ISD School Board candidates forum on Thursday, April 2, 2026 at the Dennis Stephens Central Administration Building in the Board Room at 6:00 PM.
LWV Denton also announces tentative dates of Thursday, April 9, 2026 and Thursday, April 16, 2026 to hold either one or two Denton City Council candidates forums determined by the number of candidates who file for office.
Filing ends February 13, 2026.
The League is considering forums of City combined, or City at-large and separate City single member districts. Members will receive further information in a scheduled email closer to the dates determined.
