The League of Women Voters of Irving warmly invites you a special luncheon honoring the legacy of Susan B. Anthony on Saturday, February 21, beginning at 11:30 AM, at the Las Colinas Country Club, located at 4400 N. OβConnor Rd, Irving, TX 75062.
Susan B. Anthony was a fearless leader in the womenβs suffrage movement who dedicated her life to securing equal rights for women, especially the right to vote. Through her speeches, organizing, and relentless determination, she helped pave the way for generations of women to participate fully in American democracy.
In her honor, the League of Women Voters of Irving will host this timely luncheon to raise awareness about the importance of voting and how to recognize outside influence in local elections, also known as dark money. As we approach another election season, these conversations are more important than ever.
